Frequently asked questions

Should I have a combi boiler or a cylinder?
Combis suit smaller homes with one bathroom. If you have two or more bathrooms, or several people showering at once, a system boiler with an unvented cylinder usually gives a better result. We will advise honestly after a survey.
Do unvented cylinders need servicing?
Yes. Unvented cylinders should be checked annually to make sure the safety valves and expansion vessel are working correctly. We can do this alongside your boiler service.
