Do you provide any guarantee?
Yes. All our plumbing and heating work comes with a one-year workmanship guarantee. All renewable systems, including air source heat pumps, come with a 2-year workmanship warranty, in line with the RECC mandatory standard. If anything goes wrong with our work within that time, we will come back and put it right.
What is your response time to plumbing issues?
We always aim to fix your plumbing issues within 24 hours. Your comfort and satisfaction are our priority, and we have 24/7 emergency cover available.
Is there a call-out charge for your services?
We do not charge for our quotations. However, if we are called to a fault where an engineer must diagnose a problem, this does not qualify as a quotation and will be charged at our standard rate. You are only charged from when the engineer arrives at your property to when the job is complete, not for travelling time, parking or congestion charges.
Is your heating service work guaranteed?
Yes. All our plumbing and heating work comes with a one-year workmanship guarantee. Are air source heat pumps noisy?
Modern air source heat pumps are designed to operate quietly, with noise levels comparable to that of a refrigerator. Proper installation and maintenance can help minimise any potential noise issues.
How efficient are heat pumps?
Heat pumps are highly efficient heating systems, typically offering a coefficient of performance (COP) of between 3 and 4. This means that for every unit of electricity used to power the heat pump, you can expect to receive three to four units of heat output.
Are your air conditioning engineers F-Gas certified?
Yes. Air conditioning work involves refrigerants, which by law must be handled by F-Gas certified engineers. With Phoenix, that's exactly who you get.
